Absolutely do not send love ones here - they only care about a paycheck and force your loved ones to basically clean the house for free, force you into doing things you don’t want to do, the staff will also physically put hands on you, hold you hostage and than lie to the cops about how they “care” about you and only want what’s best which is filling there pockets with money. And if you even want to transfer the right way from here they will do everything in there power to get you locked up for a evaluation and than try to hold you hostage in there house again. I was also talked down to , treated like a child, and had staff basically hold me on a leash 24:7 on my first day there. Than when I tried to leave and sign out as well as take my belongings and do it the right way the lady in charge of housing and the staff at the house got extremely aggressive, blocked me from leaving, tried to rip my phone out of my hands than refuse to give it back, shoved me and than tried to gaslight me saying it was all my fault when I backed away and tried to act like a responsible human being which these people should not be even classified as especially with the treatment of there so called clients. It’s absolutely disturbing and disgusting- if you are looking for help please go anywhere else and do not even contact these monsters-also reporting these monsters to the better business bureau and my insurance company.

Thanks to my brother-in-law Eric I found Next Wind Recovery in 2023 and attended the program for 4 months. Even though it was the most difficult thing to be away from my kids I learned enough in that time to never want to drink or use drugs again to jeopardize my freedom or my precious time with my family. I loved the counselors there, the techs, the friends I made, the houses (male and female homes separate). We had group M-F where we opened up and shared our pain and learned coping skills. We had outings where we got to go bowling, go to the movies, out to eat. We had Thanksgiving together and all cooked a dish and shared space to be each other’s temporary family. We laughed, cried, played, learned a new way to live. One of the best things we had was someone who came and played crystal bowls for us and gave us a guided meditation every week. A holistic way to heal. Next Wind Recovery is definitely next level in their approach to free you from a lifetime of addiction. I can be honest and say my counselor Duane has been the change that I needed. As a man it is not easy to open up and share. But he created an environment that felt like a safe place to share, accept positice criticism, and feel that you are being heard. I've only been in one recovery program    (this one), and do not have any interest in ever going somewhere eles because I am a true one and done, and that is due to the amazing support and confidence of the staff. Alot of people can not say that about their recovery from going to other programs. They don't push you to do anything you are not ready for, and gives you the tools to be a respected part of society. I was pretty scared and nervous comming from across the country, but they all made me feel right at home from day one. Anyone giving bad reviews, I can garuntee you they were not ready to be sober, it's that easy. If you are doing this for yourself, you will succeed 💯. The living arrangements are not in the same place as the groups or individual sessions, which makes socializing much easier, and the houses you live in are gorgeous! There are great activities planed each Saturday such as: Bowling, Top Golf, go cart racing, movies, arcades, axe throwing, trips to NYC in Manhattan, sporting events, group dinners and so much more!
